Continuous Improvement Manager

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for, driving the culture of sustainable continuous improvement, operational excellence and delivering business expectations that supports key areas of Safety, People, Quality, Delivery and Cost. This position will be responsible for executing continuous improvement projects and initiatives by the elimination of waste throughout the Willard plant using Kaizen, Six Sigma, Zero Loss Analysis, Value Stream mapping and other lean techniques, methodologies, and tools. Essential responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Driving activities related to the identification and selection of continuous improvement projects and events that are aligned to key business and plant priorities. Working with key department leaders to develop and maintain both short and long-term Continuous Improvement Strategy for the plant. Acting as a change agent, systematically driving the use of Lean Six Sigma for continuous improvement and change throughout the plant. Trains, coaches, and mentors' employees on the practical application of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma tools, and other continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and deploy Lean Six Sigma best practices within the plant and across benchmark facilities, actively develop and improve the focus improvement function and discipline by sharing best practices and projects with peers at other sites. Functions as the onsite technical subject matter expert providing technical input to engineering on capital projects (either new equipment or upgrades to existing equipment), and support plant functional groups in development of shop floor and management training, plant layout and design, improvement events such as Kaizens or SMED's and other areas as required by the plant to drive factory improvement. Develops, communicates, and implements key metrics to monitor progress and effectiveness of process improvement initiatives. Act as a liaison with Engineering and Corporate Headquarters for focus improvement initiatives. Job Complexity:
Extensive use of advanced problem solving and troubleshooting to significantly impact plant improvement projects and action plans. Managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on business needs. Interface with and influence multiple functions and at multiple organization levels, both at the plant and corporate. Observe and improve various processes and technologies across multiple plants Ability to overcome resistance to organizational change, influence both hourly and salaried employees to embrace it, and lead the change initiative. Must be able to present relatively complex continuous improvement concepts effectively to diverse groups ranging from hourly production employees to leadership team members. Utilize lean concepts and methodologies, evaluate their application, and make recommendations for improvements. We are looking for the following abilities and skills:
Minimum education required:
Bachelor's degree in organizational development, Process Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Years of relevant
Experience:
Practical lean experience and/or training with a minimum of 3 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to multi-task in in dynamic, high stress/problem solving situations. Excellent communication and presentation skills and must be effective in interactions with all levels of management as well as hourly production employees. Blackbelt or Greenbelt certification is preferred. Strong knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing best practices. Working Conditions:
The working environment includes both office and plant floor settings. Exposure to industrial noise, forklift traffic, moving mechanical parts, and temperature extremes occurs in operating areas of the plant. Anticipated travel of up to 5% to other Campbell's Snacks production facilities, offices, vendors and/or co-manufacturers.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Process ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
