Accurately keep counts of all painted coming off the A-Line as well as B-Line.
Work with Fab counterpart on A-line to ensure that makeups are hung and accounted for.
Oversee all B-Line operations (hanging & taking off).
Oversee all A-Line operations (taking off parts only) Train all makers on duties of unhanging, toting, racking, and paperwork for both lines.
Ensure all operators are wearing the proper PPE and conduct daily audits of this.
Conduct regular safety audits of the area and report any findings to supervisor or manager.
Ensure all parts are being toted or racked properly and that all safety measures are being followed.
Ensure Line 1 supermarket and hangline areas remain at a high level of 5-S.
Ensure record keeping is accurate and all pertinent information is passed along to the next shift.
This includes an hourly check of all paperwork and data collection in your area.
Know at all times what has been hung, what has been taken off & what is currently in the air at all times.
Ensure correct number of parts are hung when approaching a changover.
Plan for all changeovers.
Parts coming on, parts coming off, hooks needing changed, etc.
Remain in constant communication with paint room and assembly leadership to ensure that we are processing makeups accordingly and handling any issues that arise.
All other duties as dictated from supervisor / manager to help Line 1 fabzone be successful.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Strong understanding of load areas and hang line Experience and knowledge of all fabrication related activities is a plus.
High level of organizational, time management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Must be willing to obtain forklift and hand cart certification.
Basic technology skills:
Microsoft Office, Mapics, Workday, Kronos Ability to interact with other associates throughout the facility Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
