1 Full-time 20 hours ago Full Job Description Job Summary Leads all aspects of safety within assigned operating territory.
Directs the proper planning, budgeting and implementation of all communication & signals (C&S) operations, including communications, signals, and hump yard activities.
Directs a cross functional C&S team on their responsible territories to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all C&S equipment.
Primary Activities and Responsibilities Lead and develop team for constant improvement in safety of all C&S personnel and equipment.
Implement and coordinate safety training to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Directs and audits all C&S operation activities on the territory including but not limited to, ensuring that wayside signal systems, highway grade crossings, defect detectors, yard process control systems, radio and internet protocol (IP), and Positive Train Control (PTC) systems are functional and in compliance with governmental and regulatory agencies.
Supports Highly Automated Railroad initiatives (HAR) such as predictive analytics, workforce optimization, and yard optimization to improve safety, service, and productivity.
Manages, plans, and oversees compliance with operating expenses (OE) and strategic capital investments for assigned territory.
Manage/Schedule C&S personnel and equipment resources.
Drive service excellence through various initiatives and operations excellence measures such as predicitive analytics and all other reliability initiatives in collaboration with other departments.
Support the Transportation department in providing wayside and PTC reliable operations.
Ensures productivity of company assets such as C&S vehicle fleet, C&S workforce balancing, and C&S network optimization.

Job Requirements Different shifts as assigned in a 24 hour/7 days a week operation (incl working weekends) May be required to complete a background check Wear protective equipment (such as welding shields, hard hat, hearing protection) Work with equipment that intensifies the heat factor Work with hazardous materials on an occasional basis Work at elevated heights Work hours may vary in length and schedule (may include a non-standard work week) Work outside in all weather conditions Federal regulations require random testing for drugs and/or alcohol On the road as often as possible within assigned territory.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
